About Us
Who are we?
My name is Juanita Perez, I am the founder of Hands Reaching Hands, a non-profit organization that operates within Los Angeles, San Bernardino and Riverside Counties. For the past 10 years we have been serving the less fortunate, homeless and veteran communities.
Locally, we openly and publicly offer free clothing, shoes, hygiene products, diapers and other essentials that we receive through donations. We are proud of our “No bullying” Back-to-School event that we host yearly. Our purpose is to help deter bullying of the less fortunate students. This day and age are rough on the lower income, homeless and foster system children. We make a special day for the invited guest they are offered free clean gently used to new clothing, shoes, winter wear and backpacks with school supplies. Each is offered a free fresh haircut by local barbers and hairstylists that donate their time and supplies, and before they leave with their new school haul they are served a hot meal.
Our Story
Hands Reaching Hands was started between a mother and her son along with his wife, together we organized 10 years of service into a nonprofit continuing to reach those in need locally and across the border. We have been a funnel of knowledge to other agencies with the same vision, providing in-kind services and event hosting for charity causes with other nonprofits and local help groups and churches. Our motto is what is given to us freely, we will also give freely. We do not charge nor except any kind of compensation for anything we do or give.
Our mission is to reach as many lives as possible nationally and internationally with kindness, support and encouragement while hopefully leaving a small memory that there are still kind people in this sometimes not so kind world.

What We Do

Throughout the year we have community events offering free clean gently used or new clothes, shoes and hygiene products

We collect clothes, shoes and backpacks from neighbors to distribute to those in need.
International Outreach
Our support extends beyond borders. We provide, Food supplies, Clothing and shoes, Toys for children
No Bullying
We step in where there is lack and help prevent school bullying due to economic status.
